Cohiba XV (Extra Vigorso) cigars is definitely a response to a high demand of strong, flavorful and full bodied cigars. The complexity of these, limited production, cigars lies in the construction and unique blending of rare tobaccos around the world. Cohiba XV cigars uses sun-grown Sumatra wrapper from Ecuador. These oily, rich dark wrappers are harvested from the top most part of the plant and aged in tercio for three years. Beyond that, these wrappers ar again aged in the cedar casks for six more months to enhance the flavor. As a binder, the Cohiba XV cigars uses Connecticut broadleaf leaves along with Nicaraguan and Dominican Ligero tobacco for filler.
