BLACK DRAGON CIGARS by Gurkha

Late in 2006, Beach Cigar Group stunned the cigar world by introducing the most exclusive cigar in production and history, BLACK DRAGON. The Black Dragon from Gurkha is even more expensive than the Cohiba Behike. The Black Dragon cigars hand-crafted by the Gurkha factory in Honduras, with African Cameroon, Dominican, and Connecticut tobaccos. They are extra-aged for 12-15 years. The 7-1/2" x 52 dark maduro cigars have a strong and spicy flavor. They come in a box made in India from 75-year-old carved camel bone and solid brass. The box of Black Dragon Especial cigars sells for $115,000 for 100 cigars and there are only five boxes available.

But this was just the beginning of the history. For 2007, Kaizad Hansotia decided to make a second release of the now legendary cigar. This second release of the Black Dragon brings some of the luxury of the $115,000 a box of 100, but at popular, if super premium, pricing. Well most of us were not able to afford these cigars.....until now. Like the elite version, the new line is hand made of long-filler tobacco in the Torano family factory in Danli, Honduras. Its wrapper is a five-year aged dark Cameroon, the binder is Dominican, and the filler is Nicaraguan and Peruvian leaf. Gurkha Black Dragon cigars are packaged in an stunning leather case with an orange velvet interior, and now more than ever, they are a rare treat for the senses.....
