The Hemingway series was the first limited edition extension the Fuentes introduced. The line gets its name from famed novelist Ernest Hemingway and started in three sizes: Classic, Signature, and Short Story. A stunning new size was later introduced: the Masterpiece (9x52). Each cigar in the line is a perfecto shape and the are made with carefully fermented and aged tobaccos, specially selected from only the best crop years. This highly sought after cigar is handmade by only the most experienced cigar makers, with a production limited to only 75 cigars per day, and finally aged for six months to fully enhance the flavor and aroma in cedar lined aging rooms. It is a medium to full-bodied cigar with lots of rich earthy flavors and a pleasant spicy finish. 
While the line is one of the rarest and most respected cigars in the world and the production of all the sizes is limited, the Fuentes have special releases for some of the harder to find shapes, like the Work of Art and the Best Seller. Around Fathers Day and Christmas aficionados are lucky if they can track down their favorite Hemingway sizes in the maduro wrapper, which is a slightly sweeter and stronger version of its Cameroon counterpart. The maduros in this line are some of the hardest to find non-Cuban cigars in the world, particularly the Untold Story and the Between The Lines.
