Ramón Allones is dedicated to preserving the 150-year tradition of full-bodied Cuban cigars. As early as 1920, the Cifuentes brothers, makers of Partagas, manufactured Ramón Allones cigars in Havana. In the late 1970s, nearly two decades after his exile from Cuba, Ramón Cifuentes began producing Ramón Allones cigars again in the Dominican Republic, in limited quantities. Seeking to protect the pedigrees of the revered brand of his homeland, Cifuentes insisted upon only the richest, most aromatic varieties of Piloto Cubano Ligero blends.
Today, with its now worldwide appeal to smokers of full-bodies cigars, Ramón Allones is still crafted in the Cifuentes tradition under the supervision of Daniel Nuñez. The new Ramón Allones continues the storied tradition of its predecessors. Still providing a fuller-flavored taste profile, this legendary brand makes use of a select blend of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Ligero and Piloto Cubano Ligero that produces an uncommonly rich flavor rivaling its Cuban counterpart. A Connecticut Broadleaf binder is enhanced by the Dominican-grown La Vega Especial wrapper developed specifically for this cigar. Ramón Allones continues in the classic Cuban tradition, one we know you will find delightful too.
