Cigar Shipments

• After you place your order, allow 24hrs to process it and ship it out. All orders are sent via FedEx / USPS with Signature Request and Delivery confirmation, and an email with the Tracking information will be sent to you as soon as your order leaves our shipping locations.

• Due to inventory limitations, some selected items may not be available at the moment your order is placed. In this case, we will contact you by email or phone within 24 hours to let you know about it and provide you an estimated delivery date for your order.

• Shipments to PO Boxes, FPO, APO,  Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Guam are mailed via USPS Priority Mail, and standard USPS Priority Mail rates apply. Upgrade/Downgrade options are NOT available. Insurance charges will be applied. To get estimates for these rates, go to USPS.COM or contact us.
  
  When you come to the Shipping and Billing page, please follow these steps when entering an APO or FPO address:
  
  * Enter the recipient's full name and address in the relevant fields.
  
  * Enter "APO" or "FPO" in the City field.
  
  * If the recipient is stationed in the Americas please select "AA" from the "State/Province" drop-down menu.
  
  * If the recipient is stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East please select "AE" from the "State/Province" drop-down menu.
  
  * If the recipient is stationed in Asia or the Pacific please select "AP" from the "State/Province" drop-down menu.
  
  * Regardless of where the recipient is stationed, select "United States" from the "Country" drop-down menu.

*Note: These are minimum amounts and are subject to change depending on the actual shipping weight, and location.**

**Average Weights
1 Box of cigars is 3.0  lbs.
Lighters and Cutters are 0.50 lbs.
Ashtrays and Humidors vary depending on brand, make and model.

Wine Shipments

• Most wine orders are shipped within 1-3 business days, not including holidays or weekends. Because of the potential heat exposure, during warm weather conditions, we will hold purchased wines at no additional cost until temperature condition are more suitable for shipping. Therefore, selecting a shipping option of Next day, 2nd Day or 3-Day Select only represents the minumum business days that the package will be in transit. During warm weather, we will hold orders until conditions improve.

• Unfortunately, we cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

• Primary shipping will be by Fedex

• Recipient MUST by law sign for delivery. A valid picture ID must be provided. When your wine or cigars are delivered to you, you will be required to show identification proving that you are at least 21 years old. All orders legally require: Drivers License, Military, Passport, or State ID.  

• If recipient is found to be under the age of 21, all packages will be returned to us. No refund will be allowed.

• If Fedex can not make a delivery because no one is home, your package will be held up to 3 days at the Fedex warehouse. You can pick it up there under the same conditions listed above. 

*We do not recommend ground delivery for wines, because of the potential heat exposure, during warm weather conditions. We cannot be responsible for damaged wines due to the selection of ground delivery. We strongly urge you to consider the effect of weather conditions when selecting a shipping method. We will hold purchased wines at no additional cost until temperature condition are more suitable for shipping upon your request. You may make such requests by adding a note when checking-out in the special instruction box. We may also hold orders when weather is not suitable in Palm Springs, California at our shipping location.

RISK OF LOSS

All items purchased from CheaperCigars.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

 

Availability

Although we are usually able to ship your order on the same day, occasionally, demand for limited supplies will deplete our stock of a particular wine.  If this is the case, the item will be placed on backorder and we will notify you via e-mail. If you would like to receive the item when it becomes available, your credit card will be charged for the item only when it is shipped.
